Little venice to camden. weeping willows sway and bend in the breeze as they lap at the water’s edge of two meeting canals. canal boats, offering both tours and accommodation to those who make the water their life, move through the calm waters.. London has many classic experiences but the purpose of this blog is to find those that are a little less obvious. one of my favourite things to do with visitors is cruise the london canals by taking a boat trip from little venice to camden lock.. It was an unseasonably warm autumn day as i strolled along the water’s edge shaded by a canopy of trees. i took my place in line (or “queued up” as the brits say) to board the 55 minute london waterbus canal cruise from “little venice” to camden lock market..

Little venice to camden walk the regent’s canal tiptoes through the capital. this is a city walk through the backdoor, catching london in private, with its slippers on.. Soak up some culture on board little venice’s floating art gallery or go to the theatre (on a boat). the puppet theatre barge – moored at little venice from october through to june – puts on traditional string marionette shows.. Regents canal walk - camden town to little venice we braved the crowds clinging to the bridge by the ice wharf, crossed over and began the walk to little venice. the crowds soon thinned out and we took a nice leisurely 1.5-2 hours stroll along the embankment..
